About Me

I have been a lover of all things arts, sports, and entertainment for my entire life. Throughout high school, I led my school's theatrical productions and was a varsity cheerleader. My undergraduate journey took me to Baldwin Wallace University, where I was immersed in the worlds of theatre and arts management. I worked on tens of theatrical productions throughout my four years, performing, marketing, and producing in addition to my external internships. I graduated from Baldwin Wallace as the class valedictorian. My post-graduate professional journey began at Playhouse Square, one of North America's premiere touring Broadway venues. I worked on touring Broadway shows for a year and a half before transitioning to my current position at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame where I work on all Rock Hall-related communications - from exhibits and concerts to artist visits and education programs. Additionally, I am currently working on my MBA at John Carroll University, where I hope to reinforce my creative skills with business ones to help expand my future career opportunities.

My Personal Philosophies

Working in the arts and entertainment space has taught me a lot about myself. Participating in this industry has helped reinforce what is important to me in a workplace and in an experience.

  • Marketing, communications, and branding should reflect and preface the guest experience - I am a firm believer that the guest should have a solid expectation of the experience they paid for/signed up for based on the materials they see ahead of time. The transition from the acquisition of the customer to their arrival should be a seamless visual and emotional experience.

  • Human connection is paramount - As arts and entertainment professionals, we are in the business of making connections with other people. Everything we do should happen with human connection in mind.

  •  Lead with kindness - Including and going beyond the actual materials that are put out, all interactions should be led with kindness. Everyone has their own story to tell and comes from their own set of circumstances. Kindness and empathy are important cornerstones of my professional and personal life.

Other Fun Facts

I am a true optimist who has a number of hobbies that keep me busy and fulfill me outside of work! I am a serial crafter. I primarily love knitting, crochet, needlepoint, and cross stitch. While I float around from one to another, you can almost always find me with a project in my bag. I am an avid reader, reading 87 books in 2024, though I will likely blow that number out of the water in 2025. I read anything and everything, so if you have a book recommendation, I will always read it! I love sports, and while I am a student of sports history, I am ride-or-die for my Cleveland Guardians and Cavaliers and am a huge fan of any sport the Tennessee Volunteers are playing at any given time. Even though I do not work in theatre anymore, it is still a huge interest and part of my life. I relish the chance to perform whenever I can and love supporting my friends in community theatre. My family and I are big travelers, and while Walt Disney World is our favorite spot, we have been able to travel to a ton of wonderful places across the world, including London, Paris, Alaska, Glacier National Park, Acadia National Park, Jamaica, and Mexico, and I am looking forward to traveling to Ireland in the fall of 2025.
