Communications Coordinator - Playhouse Square, Cleveland, OH

While at Playhouse Square, the institution with the largest community of season ticket holders in North America, I was incredibly lucky to experience many facets of touring Broadway theater. I worked on all Broadway product that Playhouse Square was involved in. My day-to-day at Playhouse Square involved liaising with members of the Cleveland media, pitching stories/interviews to them, collecting press clippings, and sending out press releases. If you saw an interview in the Cleveland Plain Dealer interviewing an actor or heard about a Playhouse Square show on New Day Cleveland from August 2022 through December 2023, I had a hand in making that happen. I also assisted on media days, where we had stations visit the complex to interview actors on the Broadway tour in Cleveland. No two days are ever the same in an environment like Playhouse Square. I was also known to help out with their institutional TikTok and other social media content, where I acted as the on-site content producer.
