Hello, and welcome to my blog! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Kelly Schikowski, and I am a communications professional in the arts and entertainment space who loves what she does and the sector she is in! I hope this blog can be a place where I can share both professional and personal joys in my life!

I am the Communications Specialist at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

A bit about me - I am currently the Communications Specialist at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH, where I work on all things Rock Hall. I touch all aspects of Museum life, from exhibits and concerts to artist visits and education and community programming, and I love it all. Being able to connect with the community is so incredibly special, and I love every moment of it.

Additionally, I am working towards my MBA at John Carroll University! After starting a master's program in communications online at the University of Florida, I decided to make the switch to help better round out my skills and create future career opportunities.

I am more than my work and my education; I love to craft (mainly knitting, crochet, needlepoint, and cross stitch), I am an avid reader (I read 87 books last year, and it's looking like I will surpass that this year), and I am a huge sports-lover (go Guards!). My family loves to travel everywhere and anywhere, and I also run my own business, Baked to Please by Kelly, where I create custom sugar cookies for your celebration! All of those things bring me such joy outside of my work life.

Last summer, my family visited Bar Harbor, Maine. My brother (pictured here) and I loved hiking the trails at Acadia National Park
